A Somali man, claiming to be 112 years old has just married his new bride, a 17 year old girl from his home town of Guriceel.
Ahmed Muhamed Dhore says it is a dream come true, having waited for the girl to grow up before popping the question. He is said to be looking forward to starting a new family.
Old enough to be her great-great-grandfather, Dhore already has 114 children and grandchildren. His oldest son is 80 years old and three of his five existing wives have already passed away. This was, at least, his first marriage for nearly 75 years!
