Police in Huelva are investigating the killing of local businessman Manuel Calo whose body was found at his home in Sanlúcar de Guadiana on Monday.
The gardener discovered the body on Monday, feet tied together, badly beaten about the body and with a gunshot wound to the forehead. Calo is thought to have died a couple of days earlier. There was no sign of forced entry into the house.
Manuel Calo was a well known businessman in Huelva and had, for many years, been running two nightclubs, one in Punta Umbría and the other in Huelva itself.
