Nerja slip up again

Salamanca are the new leaders in Division 2 after a 2-0 win against Eibar, Quique Martín scoring both goals, one from the penalty spot.

Hércules occupy second spot, one point behind the leaders, after a 0-0 draw away to Murcia. Only four points separate the first nine teams and only five points separate the first fifteen. Pretty tight division.

Fourth placed Rayo Valencano, also only one point behind the leaders, were 4-2 winners against Castellón. The goals came from Enguix, Aganzo and two from Jesús Perera.

In the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, early leaders C.D. Nerja traveled to El Palo only to lose 1-0 and slip all the way down to ninth in the table. Mancha Real take over top spot after a 4-2 victory over Dos Hermanas S. Andrés. Last week’s leaders, Torremolinos, slip to second place after a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Baeza C.F.

Bottom of the table Álcala C.F. managed to score their first goal of the season. Unfortunately, their opponents, Barrio N.S. Remedios, managed to score six! It’s now 5 matches played, 1 goal for and 29 against. Need to plug that leak!
