Weekend football

Barcelona remain top of La Liga after Real Madrid could only draw 1-1 with visiting Almería. Raúl opened the scoring for Real but Piatti salvaged a point for Almería with ten minutes left to play.

Sevilla lost ground on the leaders after losing 3-2 to Valladolid. Navas and Renato put Sevilla ahead within the first half hour, but Jonathan Sesma pulled one back for the visitors. Half time substitute Canobbio got the equaliser and then, a few minutes later, struck home the winner.

Hércules are back on top of Division Two after coming from behind to beat Sevilla Atlético 1-2. Pukki gave Sevilla the lead after just four minutes but Sergio Fernández and Abraham Paz scored in the second half to give Hércules the three points and take them back to the top of the pile.

Salamanca, who were the leaders, lost 2-0 to Celta, Dinei and Trashorras were the scorers. Celta now move out of the danger zone.

In the Primera Andaluza Grupo 3, C.D. Nerja were held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Mijas. Mancha Real, unbeaten so far this season, continue to lead the division after a 2-1 win against C.D. Vilches. Álcala C.F. only conceded two goals this week, losing 0-2 to Martos C.D.
