The Ministry of Public Works is set to invest €3,300,000 in improvements to the old N-340 coastal road between Vélez-Málaga and Nerja.
The proposed project covers those sections of the N-340 which have not yet been transferred to the control of the local municipal authorities, about 16 kilometres in total. There will be a general strengthening of the road itself, improvements to signalling and maybe even the installation of the odd roundabout or two in order to improve road safety.
