A man wounded on November 9th has died from his injuries

Fifty-one year old José Reyes, shot during a disturbance in Bujulance, Córdoba, on November 9th, has died from his wounds at the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía in Córdoba.

José Reyes was an innocent bystander who was wounded during a brawl between gypsies and non-gypsies in Bujulance. He died from his wounds on Sunday and yesterday, over 500 people attended the funeral service and burial.

The Federación de Asociaciones Culturales Cristianas de Andalucía (Facca) – The Federation of Christian Cultural Associations in Andalucía – likened the incident to the case of Mari Luz Cortes. They claim that gross negligence caused the death of an innocent man because the perpetrator of the crime, a fugitive from justice, had been located and identified in Bujulance but had not been arrested for his earlier offences.
