The National Police has seized around 4,000 kilos of hashish after a raid on a small warehouse in Antequera. Also seized were three top-of-the-range vehicles.
Police had been carrying out an investigation into the goings on in Antequera for several months before initiating a raid. Three people were arrested in Antequera and another, who managed to escape along with two others, was picked up in Marbella. The police are still searching for the remaining escapees.
All those arrested were British nationals. Police believe the gang were just using the warehouse, located near the sewage works, as a central distribution point. The investigation is still ongoing and further arrests are not ruled out.
