A 53 year old Spanish woman is in hospital in Arrecife, Lanzarote, after being attacked with a knife, allegedly by her partner.
The incident took place in calle Escardillo in the Argana Alta district of Arrecife. The woman is being treated at the Hospital José Molina Orosa.
Her alleged attacker has been arrested and detained in custody pending a court appearance.
