The new promenade at El Chucho beach will not be ready by Easter as originally forecast by the Department of Coasts.
Completion of the €743,019 project, funded by the Department of Coasts, has been delayed by at least two months and wont now be ready until June…at the earliest.
The company carrying out the work has apparently encountered problems with the sewage pipes in the area and this is the reason there was no activity on the site during November and December, hence the delay. However, the problem seems to have now been resolved.
