A new ‘English Bakery’ opened today in Plaza Garcia Caparros – that’s the square just off calle Fray Junipero Serra where La Tahona and El Boqueron bars are located – in the premises formerly the home of the Belgian Butcher and later, the German Butcher.
Breads, including ‘bloomers’, (fresh) cream cakes, homemade sausage rolls….delicious Bath Buns.
They only made a limited number of items as it was their first day, unsure of what the demand would be…..and were sold out by two o’clock!
