Guardia Civil Trafico officers in Sevilla arrested a novice driver after he was clocked at 197 kph on the AP-4 near Las Cabezas de San Juan.
Having only had a licence for less than one year, the maximum speed he was permitted to drive, on any road, was 80 kph, so he was duly arrested and charged with a crime against road safety.
