The whole Carnival was a great success and great to see people using their ingenuity following the ban on supermarket trolleys and cars in the procession.
Only one seemed to have any trouble. One group had used a couple of bicycles strapped together as the guts of their float, as it were. Great idea, but the only slight technical defect was the fact that it couldn’t go round corners without being lifted! Back to the drawing board.
