Residents of a building in calle Teniente Martínez Navas, Canillas de Albaida, had to be evacuated from their homes after fire broke out in a first floor apartment.
The fire started at around 22:00 on Tuesday evening. No-one was injured in the blaze, which was extinguished by midnight, but the occupants of the apartment where the fire started were forced to spend the night elsewhere.
