Guardia Civil officers en route to the scene of an accident in Málaga interecepted a driver who had accessed the Ronda de Málaga at km 237 and was merrily heading in the wrong direction.
The driver, a 54 year old man, was subsequently found to have four times the permitted amount of alcohol in his bloodstream. Not only that, but the man had no licence as it had already been withdrawn until 2010.
