The Department of Health of the Junta de Andalucía has announced plans for the creation of several new health centres in the Axarquia.
The new centres include Nerja (pending transfer of land by the Council), La Cala del Moral and Rincón de la Victoria. A new office is also planned in Sedella.
The projects are part of an initiative to improve health care in the region by ensuring greater accessibility of users to health services.
