Today, April 1st, sees the price of butane gas go down, but it’s not such good news for electricity and bus fares, both set to rise.
The price of a cannister of butane gas today is €10.50, a reduction of €3.00 on what it would have cost yesterday. This is a 22% decrease and will benefit the average household by about €70 per year.
Natural gas prices are set to be reduced by between 8% and 14%, depending upon the type of consumer, as from April 12th.
The cost of metropolitan and intercity bus fares in Andalucía are going up by an average of 4%, the biggest increase since 2002. The ticket price on around 500 routes in the region are affected.
