A man was injured on Saturday evening after he tried to put out a fire at his home in Carboneras, Almería province.
The fire affected the kitchen and the dining room of the house and caused the evacuation of three other people in the area due to the amount of smoke in the air.
The injured man had burns to his hands and arms and was taken to the Health Centre in Almería for treatment. The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
