Police are investigating the death of a sailor in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz. The man was boatswain aboard the fishing vessel ‘Josefa y Luisa’ and had been living on the vessel for the past eighteen months.
At around 19:30 yesterday evening, a loud explosion occurred on board the vessel and soon afterwards, the body of the sailor was discovered. He had suffered severe burns to his face and arms.
Preliminary indications lead police to believe tha actual cause of death was electrocution.
