A police investigation into the death of a North African man whose body was found in a rubbish treatment plant in Linares has led to the arrest of two individuals in Úbeda.
The two men, also of North African origin, were aprehended after a shooting incident in the Atalaya area. A third man managed to escape.
It is not yet known whether the detainees are directly involved in the death of the man found in the treatment plant but it is known that the deceased had been living in this same area of Úbeda for several weeks.
An autopsy is due to be carried out and this should provide more information for the authorities.
