According to the latest reports, alleged financial irregularities relating to the municipal coffers of San Fernando. Cádiz, could be as much as €7.5 million.
The discrepancies cover the period from December 2002 to April 2009 and the situation is having an impact on the payment of creditors in the municipality.
Two municipal officials have so far been accused of embezzlement by the judge investigating the matter.
