Six people were injured, one of them seriously, when a carriage overturned on the A-318 in Doña Mencía. It was returning from the romería de San Pedro Mártir de Verona when the incident occurred.
The carriage is thought to have overturned after hitting the curb. One of the injured, a 24 year old, was taken by helicopter to the Hospital Reina Sofía in Córdoba where his condition is described as ‘very serious’. The remaining five injured were taken to Cabra hospital for treatment, their injuries far less serious.
