A 58 year old man has died and two other people gave been injured as the result of a gas explosion in Granada.
The explosion occurred at 09:00 this morning at a home on the corner of calles García Morato and Cardenal Parrado in Granada. The cause appears to have been a butane gas canister,
The Emergency Services transferred the injured, a 35 year old woman and a 60 year old man, to the Hospital de Traumatología in the capital.
The explosion caused extensive damage to the building and to several vehicles in the vicinity and household appliances and personal belongings were found strewn around the streets, such was the force of the blast.
