San Isidro becomes party political

The IU party will not be setting up a bar at San Isidro tomorrow as they had originally planned and the spokesman for the party, Manuel Velero, is not a happy bunny, accusing the ruling PP of discrimination.

The IU leader received a letter from the Department of Fiestas allocating them a space up at the nerja Caves site. However, according to Manuel Velero, the plot has five pine trees and is unsuitable for setting up their proposed ‘Rincon Cubano’.

Sr Velero believes this is a discriminatory move and is some sort of punishment being meted out by the Partido Popular.

The IU will still be present, though, with flags and banners.
