Guardia Civil officers in Albox, Almería, have arrested 49 year old Francisco Agustín G.T. on suspicion of killing his wife.
The accused telephoned the Guardia Civil to inform them that he had done a ‘crazy thing’ and when the officers arrived on the scene they found Francisco Agustín G.T. standing next to the lifeless body of his wife. She had been stabbed several times.
The accused was covered in blood and apparently confessed to the crime.
The couple, who live at avenida Lepanto 18, have two children, aged 13 years and 20 years. According to reports, there was no history of violence within the family, although the couple were in the midst of separating.
