Seven people have been detained in Málaga in connection with the death of a 49 year old British man in Competa on June 5th.
The detainees are the alleged alleged perpetrators of a crime of injury by participating in the fight that ended with the death of a British citizen.
The fight took place during the early hours of June 5th outside the pub La Estrella and the injuries suffered by the British subject left him in a coma for twelve days. The man never regained consciousness and died at the Carlos Haya Hospital on June 17th.
He had suffered a serious head injury as well as multiple bruising to various parts of his body.
