A man in Oviedo has confessed to killing his disabled sister, cutting her up and hiding her body parts in his fridge.
The woman, 36 year old ML.B.B, lived in calle Mariscal Solís with her brother and mother.
Police received a call from a woman who claimed that her son had sublet one of the rooms in the house and, upon returning from a trip, had discovered human body parts in the fridge. Several police officers went to to the house to investigate the claim.
The son apparently responded to police questions by calmly admitting that, following an argument on the night of San Juan, he had killed his sister and hidden her body in a fridge-freezer. He then showed the police where the body was located.
The body parts have been confirmed as belonging to 36 year ML.B.B.
The son has been arrested as the alleged killer and the mother has been detained as an accessory to the crime.
