One of the two firemen injured in the fire near Horta de Sant Joan (Tarragona), has died from his injuries. He had been in a serious condition at the Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona for the past four days.
Four firemen died on Tuesday and two others were injured when high winds resulted in the firefighters being trapped by the blaze.
The man who died is 31 year old Pau C.A. who was admitted to hospital with burns on 50% of his body. The other injured man remains in a serious condition with burns to 75% of his body.
