The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, along with the provincial delegate from the Ministry of Environment, Remedios Martel, the Councillor for Infrastructure, Alberto Tomé, the Councillor for the Environment, José Miguel Jimena, and various Council technicians visited the Rio Chillar walkway ahead of the official handover of the completed project to Nerja next Thursday.
All concerned took the opportunity to enthuse over each others’ part in the project which has cost in the region of €4 million and has taken several years to complete. The Ministry of Environment funded 75% of the project.
