Two people required treatment for smoke inhalation after fire broke out in a block of flats in avenida Galeón, Benalmádena.
The fire began at 05:35 and caused the evacuation of the apartment block and two nearby bars as a precautionary measure. The two injured people, aged 48 years and 71 years, were treated at the local health centre.
