María Luisa Infante, eldest daughter of Blas Infante, regarded as the father of Andalucian autonomy, has died at her home in La Puebla del Río, Sevilla, at the age of 81 years.
Blas Infante was executed on the night of August 10th/11th 1936 on the road from Seville to Carmona. He had three children, María Luisa, María Ángeles and Luis. María Ángeles now becomes the sole surviving member of the family.
