A new Local Police officer takes up his duties in Nerja today after being appointed by decree by the Mayor of Nerja.
The new officer has transferred (voluntarily) from Huelva. He was sworn in at a ceremony attended by the First Deputy Mayor, Inocencia Quintero, the Councilor for Public Safety, Jonathan Méndez, and several other Local Police officers.
