The DGT has opened a new bridge over the río Genil on the A-45 Córdoba to Málaga motorway near the town of Benamejí. The new viaduct is 605 metres long and reaches a maximum height of 77 metres.
The A-45 motorway was, for construction purposes, divided into ten separate sections. Nine of these sections are now fully operational and the tenth, between Encinas Reales and Benamejí, was partially opened last March.
