Busy on El Playazo beach today.
There was even a little traffic jam for the local Guardia Civil to sort out as cars ended up nose to nose on the narrow track. One of the vehicles stuck in the jam was a Guardia car so the mess was sorted out pretty quickly!
Loads of people having barbecues, as if it wasn’t warm enough already.
Mauri and El Breine were both pretty much packed at lunchtime, the new bar was doing a reasonable trade as was Oasis. In Mauri they must have had about a dozen staff milling around behind the bar and in the kitchen – and it’s not a particularly big place by any stretch of the iamagination – but flooding the place with staff wasn’t working as it took longer to get served than usual.
