There is still no news as to when the 60 residents evacuated from their homes in Albanchez, Almería, following a landslide will be able to return home.
Emergency measures are being undertaken to try and prevent further landslides on the slope where the twenty houses are located. A concrete wall is being constructed on the hillside and an aluminium mesh is being installed.
Further measures are also being considered including the possible reformation of the water collection system in the area.
