The search is on for an 18 year old youth who fell into the sea yesterday somewhere between Punta Carnero and Tarifa.
The youth was out walking with a group of people when he fell into the sea and disappeared. The incident occurred at around 13:00, although it was not actually reported until 17:00.
Once the alarm was raised, the Guardia Civil, Local Police, Civil Protection and Maritime Rescue began a search of the area on both land and sea with three boats and a helicopter involved in the operation.
