Barcelona move to the top

A great display from Brazilian playmaker Kaka helped Real Madrid on the way to a 3-0 win away to Espanyol.

Granero scored the first after 39 minutes, picking up a great pass from Kaka and shooting past the Espanyol keeper Kameni. More good work from Kaka resulted in Guti firing in the second and Ronaldo made absolutely certain of victory with a goal in the 91st minute.

Second half goals from Ibrahimovic and Messi, who else, sevures a 0-2 win for Barcelona against Getafe and the Catalans now top the table from Real Madrid, at least until Sunday’s matches are played.

Sevilla slammed four past Zaragoza in an emphatic 4-1 win, the goals coming from Konko, Fabiano (2) and Perotti. Arizmendi was the scorer for Zaragoza.
