The Councilor for the Environment, José Miguel Jimena, has announced plans for a ‘clean-up’ of a stretch of the Rio Chillar riverbed, a project to be carried out in conjunction with the Casa de Argentina.
On September 27th, the cleaning operation will begin and cover the area from the motorway bridge down to the main populated area. Anyone wishing to do their bit and join in needs to be at the Sunday market site at 09:00.
