A 22 year old Dominican woman is in hospital in Úbeda after being shot several times, allegedly by her husband.
The incident occurred at around midday, neighbours hearing the cries of the woman and notifying the authorities.
Police arrived on the scene and found the woman suffering from three gunshot wounds, one to the leg and two in the abdomen. She was rushed to hospital where she is said to be in a serious condition.
The alleged attacker, her husband, was arrested.
