Work starts in calle Ramón y Cajal and Juan Ramón Jiménez

Work has now started on the urbanisation of calle Ramón y Cajal and Juan Ramón Jiménez in the Parador area as the whole town rapidly becomes one big building site.

The works, budgeted at €380,000 and financed through FEIL, are set to take five months to complete and are being carried out in two phases in order to minimise disruption in the area.

Calle Juan Ramón Jiménez currently does not even have a pavement but will have two once the work is completed. The works are a comprehensive overhaul of the infrastructure in the two streets.

Local residents have been told that they can use the municipal car park while the works are in progress.
