The plenary session of the Supreme Judicial Council (CGPJ) has upheld the suspension from office for one year of a judge at the Court of First Instance and Instruction in Ubeda (Jaén) for abusing his status to obtain favourable treatment. When staff at a shop refused to exchange a perfume he had them closed down and the shop sealed.
