A 72 year old man in the small village of Cobdar, Almeria, is suspected of having killed his 67 year old wife and 80 year old brother before committing suicide.
The incident occurred at their home in Cobdar, a village of only 200 inhabitants in the Sierra de los Filabres, early on Thursday morning.
The 80 year old was ill and confined to his bed. Police arrived at the house at 09:00 to find three bodies. The woman was still alive at this time but died a short time later.
The Guardia Civil are investigating the incident.
