The Partido Andalucista (PA), Partido Socialista de Andalucía (PSA), Colectivo de Unidad de los Trabajadores (CUT-BAI) and the Sindicato Andaluz de Trabajadores (SAT) will today honour the memory of José García Caparrós, the youth shot dead on December 4th 1977 during the demonstration claiming autonomy for Andalucia.
A wreath will be laid at the spot in Málaga where José García Caparrós was shot and killed by members of the security forces. The PA believes that it is necessary for the people of Andalucia to be as active as they were in 1977, raising questions about the Historical Memory, separate elections and almost one million unemployed in the region.
