Benamargosa Council, with help from the Junta de Andalucia, Málaga Council and the Central Government, has managed to carry out improvements to a dozen rural roads and country lanes in the municipality.
The €300,000 road improvement project included cleaning, asphalting and concreting and has covered, amongst others, the camino del Castañar, de la Cuesta, de la Fuente la Gota, Benamargosa-el Chifli, el Hoyon, la Maceta and Fuente La Higuera.
