Early this morning, following a call by a local resident, National Police officers in Fuengirola discovered the body of a homeless man in calle Antonio Rubio Torres.
The victim, known in the area and a frequent visitor to the local health centre, was found with an axe embedded in the back of his head.
The National Police are now investigating the incident.
