The Mayor of Villanueva del Trabuco, Antonio Vegas Morales, is due to appear in court tomorrow on charges of contravening city planning regulations.
The charges relate to an incident in 1998 when the Mayor allegedly issued a decree for the building of a dwelling on land classified as rural without the mandatory technical and legal reports.
