The AVE high speed train services between Madrid and Sevilla and between Málaga and Barcelona have been restored as of 09:45 this morning.
Services were disrupted by snow at the Cerro Negro workshops in Madrid where the trains were housed, preventing them from departing.
Some 2,500 passengers have been affected by the disruption and they are being offered a choice of money back, wait for another train or change their ticket to another day.
