A National Police officer died this morning and another was injured after they were hit by a car as they attempted to signal an accident on the A-4.
At around 02:50 this morning, the officers were at the scene of an accident at km4 on the A-4 to Madrid at Getafe. As they attempted to signal the accident for other motorists the two officers were run over by another vehicle.
Agent José Galdón Mora, aged 56 years, died at the scene and 34 year old David L.G. suffered a broken arm and was taken to the hospital in Getafe.
