An English climber who disappeared on Sunday after setting of from Pradollano to climb El Mulhacén in the Sierra Nevada mountains has been found.
Mountain Rescue officers had been searching for the climber since Monday after his wife reported his disappearance. A skilled climber, he had however set off without crampons or shelter for a night in the mountains.
The man suffered a broken leg after falling in the Barranco de San Juan and made his way to a restaurant in Guéjar Sierra.
Medics were alerted and the injured man was taken to the Hospital Clínico.
