Two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting in Almeria on Saturday afternoon.
Two men, 22 year old J.M.S.S. and 23 year old D.R.M. have been detained on suspicion of causing the death of 29 year old K.A., a Moroccan national, during a gunfight at the junction of calle Cruces Bajas and calle San Ildefonso. Both men have prior records for violence.
At 15:47, the Emergency Services were alerted to the fact that there was a wounded man lying in the street. Medics tried to stabilise the condition of the wounded man but to no avail and he died a short while later.
The police investigation into the incident is still ongoing. It is thought at this stage that the incident was a settling of accounts.
