A German couple in their eighties have died in a fire at their fourth floor home in Torrox.
The fire began at around 15:30 on the fourth floor of an eight storey block in Laguna Beach, Torrox Costa. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
The building was evacuated up to the fourth floor but there were very few people in the building as it is mainly a holiday location. The home belonging to the couple, who were aged 81 years and 82 years, was completely burned and smoke filled the rest of the building.
